Get Ready for a Wild Night in Ybor City’s Clubs!Ybor City clubs are something of legends around this part of Florida and if you head into the city on a Thursday though Saturday night, you will not be able to ignore them. Tourists come from all over the country and even the world and know about the clubs in Ybor City. Walking down Seventh Ave on one of these nights, you can see all the lines of people standing out front to get into one of the many discotheques and hear the pounding music from inside of the clubs. There is a club in Ybor City FL for whatever type of scene you may be interested in. One of the most popular and swanky clubs is Club Prana (www.clubprana.com) which has 5 floors that include a rooftop bar that you can look out over the Ybor streets from. Another one of the most popular is Amphitheater (www.amptampa.com) which has been in Tampa for quite a number of years and brings in the best electronic dance music, or EDM, artists in the country on a weekly basis all year. Amphitheater, or The Amp to the locals, features a rotating dance floor, top notch lighting system, a cryogenic jet system that cools the entire venue 30 degrees in a matter of seconds, a top of line sound system that will send bass right through your chest, and go-go dancing girls with multiple LED hula-hoops. The Amp is one of the best clubs in the state of Florida without a doubt, which is saying a lot. Another popular club is Honey Pot, which is just your standard nightclub but has a nice atmosphere. If you are looking for something a little different, you can go to The Castle (www.castleybor.com). If you have never been to Castle, I would keep in mind that I stress the word different because this is not your average club; but, if you like an alternative scene it can be very fun. The Ybor City club scene can be a very fun night out on the weekends and I recommend anyone visiting Tampa give this a try at the very least. Don’t be afraid to hop from club to club and check out which one fits your best. Do not leave your dancing shoes at home, that is for sure. |
